We like Scotland. A lot. So much so that we keep going back every year for our summer holidays and have seriously considered abandoning dear old Manchester for a home north of the border. We enjoyed a number of group holidays in Scotland before going it alone with our first trip to Skye in the summer of 2001. The following year we were back again for our honeymoon, with a mini-tour that took in the isles of Arran (where we first went on holiday together), Jura (where Alice spent innumerable childhood holidays) and Skye (where we've been every summer since).
